" Long Distance Relationships"

The instant messengers are great for long distance relationships. If you both have Internet access and can download the software, I suggest that you download one of these free messengers. My girlfriend and I use two of the messenger services and we talk almost every night. Write a letter or find a picture of something you two have shared. Paste the letter/picture to a piece of cardboard and cut it into puzzle pieces. Send your long distance love a few pieces every other day in the mail.

Have someone take pictures of you, develop them, and make a calendar. The way I did it was to get card paper and glue a rose border on each piece. I then color copied and enlarged the pictures and pasted them on the paper. Then I printed out boxes on the computer for the days and decorated each week (or month). I then tied them all together with ribbon and sent it to him in the mail as a countdown for when he moved here. He loved it. He got to see me everyday, and the fact that it took so much time and effort really touched him.

When I was in a long distance relationship I used to send my boyfriend letters sprayed with my perfume. I would also soak pieces of material with my perfume because it lasted longer than the perfume on my letters. He loved it. Send your long distance love dinner by calling a restaurant where he/she lives and having them deliver his or her favorite meal. Instead of sending your love a hand-written letter this week, get a blank tape and microphone, and talk to him/her. This is great if you don’t get to talk over the phone much…they can listen to the tape whenever they want to hear your voice.

Send a care package with a tape of songs you listened the last time you were together, some of his favorite candy, and something silly – like a little stuffed toy or a rock you picked up on a walk. Tell your sweetie that you wish they’d been with you when you were shopping, or on your walk because you couldn’t stop thinking about them. It’s a great way to let your love know you’re thinking about them.

Clever Flower Idea
Find out her house address, and the phone number for a florist where she lives. Then some day, when you know she’ll be home, call the florist, order the flowers and have them delivered to her house. You will have to pay with your credit card, and everything will be done over the phone, seeing as you don’t live in her city. Don’t tell her that you are going to send her flowers, this is really a great surprise! She’ll be very impressed that you went to all that effort, and what a great surprise! Also, tell the florist what you want written on the little card, and they’ll write it for you.

Long Distance Love Song Dedication
This is an excellent twist to the usual ‘dedicate a song on the radio’ for those of you in a long distance relationship. First, find out what radio station he/she listens to, and what time of day they listen to it most often (such as in the car on the way to work, or in the morning as they get ready). You’ll probably have to ask your love these questions, but try to do it as casually as possible…if you’re lucky it’ll just come up in conversation sometime. Once you find this out, track down the phone number for that radio station (call directory assistance, look on the internet, peek at a phone book while you are visiting).

Now you have the phone number, call the radio station and ask if they would play a request…beg! If they agree, pick a sentimental song and have them play it at the time when you know your love be listening, they will most likely give a little message before playing the song so tell them what you want them to say This next song is for (insert their name here, from insert your name here. WOW! What a great surprise!

" Tips" Proposing a Girl

Do a little home
work. Get to know your girl well, before you pop the question. Get to know her interests, her dislikes, and her general nature that will help you plan your proposal in a better way. If she is shy and an introvert, propose when you two are alone. If she is sporty and loves adventure, then take her for rock climbing and propose when you reach at the top. The age old way of going down on knees in public is still the best way to propose a girl. Don’t try this idea with a shy and introvert girl as she might find it difficult to reciprocate as it could be embarrassing.

Words matter a lot to girls if said genuinely or else they can easily figure out the topping of gloss you have added and will be unaffected. If you can write well, write a poem for her and record it in a CD. Play it while you are together and see her melting. All girls love flowers. So get a huge bouquet of roses and tell her how much you love her and how much she means to you. Tell her you would like t
o spend the rest of your life with her or alone. Be ready to be smothered by a genuinely happy woman's hug!

Gestures have a great role to play in proposing a girl as they take a quick notice of it. Show your gentle, protective and emotional dependence nature while you are around her and mean it too. Girls fall for guys with these qualities and there will be no ground for rejection when you will propose her. Appreciate her for what she is. Tell her "you look beautiful" when she does not have any make up on. Tell her she looks amazing when she is having a bad day and mean it. She will love you for it and will readily agree when you propose. Just don't overdo it, as it will look fake.Girls love to be pampered so when you intend to propose, make sure you are chivalrous enough to make her feel special and at the same time not look vulnerable. Women want a strong man, not a wimp.

You can even propose the girl at a place where you first met or a place you have fond memories of as these places have an association attached to it that will give less chance to her for refusal. Don't force her to say yes. The worst you can do is to push her around and threaten her dignity. Tell her to take her time and that you shall wait. Be a gentleman and respect her. Incase she doesn't want a relationship; she will let you know of it then and there.

The Meaning of Love

"The Meaning of Love"

Since a very long time ago, people have searched for the meaning of love. But even the great philosophers, with their profound definitions, could not fully touch its true essence. In a survey of 4-8 year olds, kids share their views on love. But what do little kids know about love? Read on and be surprised that despite their young and innocent minds, kids already have a simple but deep grasp of that four-letter word.

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss but they look happy and sometimes they dance in the kitchen while kissing."

"When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared she won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only does she still love you, she loves you even more."

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."

"If you want somebody to love you, then just be yourself. Some people try to act like somebody else, somebody the boy likes better. I think the boy isn't being very good if he does this to you and you should just find a nicer boy."

"I let my big sister pick on me because my Mom says she only picks on me because she loves me. So I pick on my baby sister because I love her."

"You have to fall in love before you get married. Then when you're married, you just sit around and read books together."

Lover's Point Pacific Grove

Lover's Point Pacific Grove

California

Similar to Berwick Park, Lover's Point is another unique location to have your ceremony. Lover's Point public park is a point of land that juts into the ocean, and is used frequently. It is located just one mile from Monterey, and a quarter mile from Berwick Park(another unique location). You are able to reserve a two hour block in which no other wedding party may use the site. Let us coordinate the set-up of your ceremony site with chairs, archway, runner, and iced lemonade. A staff member will oversee the set-up and break-down for you, as your guests proceed to your reception site. A warning to the wise: It is commonly windy here, and may be a bit chilly if your ceremony is later in the day.
The first basic concept you need to understand is the difference between web addresses and links. A web address is something like while a link is structured in HTML codes that begins with and ends with. Software programs such as MS Words usually turn a web address into a link automatically, so that they look similar except the color and maybe underline. But in a pure text editor such as NotePad or TextPad, links look a lot messier with all the HTML codes around them. If you're already into article marketing, then you must have known what links are and how they're created. So why do I have to explain all this? Well, the reason is that many article writers nowadays can simply ignore the link structuring basics thanks to the widespread use of HTML editors, WYSIWYG, point-and-click, you name it. The result is that these writers see nothing bad with embedded links all over their article's body. However, the article users, those who publish them, are not that stupid. They have the articles displayed in plain text editors, and those links sure look like hell. The problem is, if they play by the rules, they can't modify it. Even if they dare to modify the articles, it will waste too much time. So the only reasonable option is to trash them altogether!
